RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS POLICY

1. Our Return Policy

At DNA Tango Shoes, we take pride in creating handcrafted Argentine tango shoes with attention to comfort, quality, and craftsmanship.

Our footwear is manufactured in Türkiye, with both ready-to-ship and made-to-order options available.

We are committed to customer satisfaction and respect all applicable consumer protection laws.

2. Standard Product Returns

Customers purchasing standard products are generally entitled to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of delivery, without providing a reason, unless a statutory exception applies.

To request a return, please contact us at tangoshoesdna@gmail.com within the applicable withdrawal period.

Customers may examine and try on their shoes to determine their fit, characteristics, and suitability.

We recommend trying shoes on a clean indoor surface to protect the leather and soles.

Any legally applicable responsibility for diminished product value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to examine the goods remains unaffected.

3. Custom-Made & Personalized Shoes

DNA Tango Shoes specializes in individually handcrafted footwear.

Shoes produced according to individual foot measurements, special fitting requirements, or personalized design specifications may qualify for an exception to the statutory right of withdrawal under applicable Turkish consumer law.

The selection of a standard shoe size, heel height, or existing catalog option does not automatically remove statutory withdrawal rights.

Customers will be informed before checkout whenever a product qualifies for a legal withdrawal exception.

Regardless of customization, statutory rights concerning defective, damaged, or incorrectly manufactured products remain protected.

4. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before delivery where the statutory right of withdrawal applies.

For genuinely personalized orders that qualify for a withdrawal exception, cancellation requests submitted before production begins may be reviewed individually.

Please contact our customer service team as soon as possible if you wish to cancel an order.

Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

5. Size & Model Exchanges

We understand that proper fit is essential for Argentine tango dancers.

Customers may contact us to request a voluntary size or model exchange.

Exchange requests are evaluated according to product condition, stock availability, and production possibilities.

Any additional costs or price differences for a voluntary exchange will be communicated before the exchange is confirmed.

Statutory rights concerning withdrawal and defective products are not restricted by this exchange policy.

6. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products

If your shoes arrive damaged, defective, or different from the agreed order specifications, please contact us.

We recommend providing your order number and photographs where available to help us resolve the issue efficiently.

Photographs are not a mandatory condition for exercising statutory consumer rights.

Depending on applicable law, customers may be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction, or a refund.

7. Return Shipping – DHL

Our designated return shipping carrier is DHL.

Customers wishing to exercise their statutory right of withdrawal should contact DNA Tango Shoes before shipping their return to receive DHL return instructions.

For qualifying returns under Turkish statutory withdrawal rules, the customer will not be charged return shipping costs when using our designated DHL return service.

If DHL does not provide an accessible return service at the customer's location, an alternative legally compliant return arrangement will be provided without additional return shipping charges to the consumer.

8. Refund Processing

Where the statutory right of withdrawal applies, refunds will be processed in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

Under Turkish distance-selling rules, the applicable refund period is 14 days.

For returned products, the refund period begins when the goods are handed over to the designated DHL return carrier.

If a different carrier is used, the refund period begins when the returned goods reach the Seller.

If the customer withdraws before the product is delivered, the refund period begins when the withdrawal notice is received.

Refunds include amounts required by applicable law, including eligible original delivery charges.

Refunds are issued using a method compatible with the original payment instrument, without additional charges to the customer.

The time required for the refund to appear on a card statement may depend on the payment provider and issuing bank.

9. International Orders & Returns

DNA Tango Shoes ships internationally to supported destinations.

International returns may involve additional customs procedures, import documentation, and local regulatory requirements.

Mandatory consumer protection rights applicable in the customer's country remain unaffected.

Return shipping obligations and costs are determined by applicable law and the relevant order conditions. We will provide return instructions before the shipment is arranged.

Any customs duties or import taxes already paid to authorities may be subject to separate refund procedures under the destination country's regulations.
